Tablet Computing pt.2

While it may have taken 6 months; there is a new tablet on the horizon. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a serious contender for the tablet computing market. The Galaxy Tab will run Google's Android operating system, and it's specs are impressive. How impressive you ask? Well let's list them!
  • 7 inch multi-touch capacitive display.
  • 3g, wifi a/b/g, and bluetooth connectivity.
  • Social hub, a combo of social networking tools, e.g: facebook.
  • Flash support! (take that Ipad users!).
  • Support for all pertinent audio and video formats.
  • E-Reader functionality.
  • G.P.S.
This is not a full list, I encourage you to visit Samsung and discover more. The multimedia support I found to be particularly impressive. Samsung has chosen to support formats far beyond the ubiquitous mp3 format. Divx, Xvid, Ogg, Flac, and more are supported, enabling users to have a rich multimedia experience on a very portable device. Flash support means on the go gaming, and more!
Of course you will have access to the ever expanding Android app store, where you can download everything from basic utilities, to musical applications.
