New Kid Coming to the Block!

My pets,

Royalty is in the eye of the beholder, I always say!

You give them an hour and they'll take the day.

I'm shouting with happiness and glee that a "royal" birth in the Meulenberg house will occur in late spring,

Rob and Christa will welcome a baby who will bring,

Much love, joy, and contentment on or about June 10, and I just say it's just one of those things!

(Obviously I didn't want to be my boring self and just write they're having a baby, as you can tell!)

Now I'll have to work! Too much stuff to buy for the new kid on the block!

This was the official announcement from my always outrageous Aunt Debbie. Obviously she is bursting at the seams, and I can safely say that goes for the rest of us! I can't wait till the celebrations in June, which is the best month already because my birthday is in June as well!

Super sweet!

While this may be meaningless to the majority, never-the-less I must share my jubilation at the imminent release of Reason 4.0. A nice youtube vid can be seen here.

Mars Killers From Earth?, Astronomer Says NASA Probes May Not Have Recognized Alien Microbes And Killed Them - CBS News

We just can't stop killing, can we? It isn't bad enough we can't stop starting wars, we had to go to mars and kill microbes! Okay...we have no proof these microbes exist, but given how evolution works "it makes sense." This theory is the brainchild of Dirk Schulze-Makuch a geology "professor" (quotes courtesy of my skepticism) at Washington State University. Schulze-Makuch is referring to the Viking mission in the 70's. The Vikings mission was to search for life on Mars, but Schulze-Makuch asserts that during two of the Vikings experiments where it poured water on the soil, then a different experiment where it heated the soil. These experiments would have drowned and baked martian life respectively. You see the Viking was looking for life with salt water serving as the internal fluid of living cells. Schulze-Makuch claims life could have evolved with water and hydrogen peroxide serving as the fluid in early living cells. So, with no proof Schulze-Makuch points to the bombadeer beetle (an inhabitant of Earth not Mars), this beetle has the unique defense mechanism of being able to create a scalding hot liquid projectile, which is 25% hydrogen peroxide. Please take note however that the hydrogen peroxide is not the internal fluid of this little insects cells, rather it is secreted along with hydroquinones, when these are combined with a reagent the defensive liquid is produced, hardly condusive to life.

15 Years for 3000 Lives

BBC NEWS | Europe | Moroccan jailed over 9/11 attack

This is justice European style, a man who aided the terrorists that
took the lives of 3000 people, 3000 non-combatants, men and woman going
to work, carrying on their lives as they probally did every day. What
does this terrorist aide get? 15 years...does that sound just? Not to
me, in my opinion being an aide to a terrorist is the same as being a
terrorist, and the only suitable sentence for such wanton and ruthless
destruction of lives, should be death.

A Joke That Is Over Our Heads

Strange but True- Woman Settles in Flour-Filled Condoms Case - AOL News

The synopsis is as follows: Students fill condoms with flour as a "joke". This girl thought it would be a good idea to take four of these onto a plane on her way home to L.A. She was promptly arrested, and held on drug trafficking charges, until the substance in the condoms did indeed prove to be flour.

I am constantly baffled by the idiocy of our "students", these kids are going to college's that claim to be nurturing the minds of tomorrow, instead we get buffoons who can't even understand the implication of carrying a undeclared white powder onto a commercial airplane. I think we should start scrutinizing our schools of higher learning.

Easily Influenced

BREITBART.COM - Texas Boy Hangs Self; Saw Saddam on TV

I'm torn between pity and bewilderment at the outcome of this story. I feel sorry for the family and their loss. I cannot fathom, however, how someone could be so bereft of common sense, as to attempt to hang themself. The article comments that the boy was "curious" and "experimenting". I am a curious person myself, yet I know that curiousity about hanging could be satiated by reading a book, not attempting to re-enact it. You know I could go on a tirade citing how "Authorities" have blamed imagery in the public circle, from Marilyn Manson (FYI I am not a fan), to Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series. I'll just finish by saying maybe public screwls (schools to the uninitiated) should start focusing on common sense, instead of their Humanist indoctrination, of course, it's far easier to brainwash then educate.

Oceans of Titan

They may not be oceans as we know them, but they sure are beautiful. Radar imaging data of large bodies of liquid on Titan

Incedently, these "oceans" are comprised of liquid methane. In case you didn't know methane becomes liquid @ -161 celsius. That's pretty damn cold!

AWOL Soldier Tells His Side

Conscientious Rejector? - Kevin Sites in the Hot Zone From Yahoo! News

There is a time and a place for dissent for war, waiting until after you've volunteered to serve the Country, is not the time. Just my opinion.
